Everyone got a taste of the exciting USRA racing during the Smokin Hot Summer Series where at times we saw three and four wide racing in Modifieds, Stock Cars, and B Mods at I-35 Speedway. Well guess what we are only a month away from the United States Racing Association (USRA) Nationals at I-35 Speedway. I-35 Speedway is located at exit 64 and immediately east of the interstate.
The USRA Nationals are three exciting days of side by side nose to tail edge of your seat racing. This racing event takes place on October 4, 5, and 6, 2018. Practice will be on October 3. Thursday will see the USRA Modifieds, Stock Cars, B Mods, and Hobby Stocks in competition. Friday and Saturday the USRA Tuners (4 cylinders) will be added to the schedule. I-35 Speedway Sport Compacts can race with the Tuner class.
Additionally, this week we learned from Todd Staley, due to rain events at other USRA tracks, the USRA Track point season will be extended through the month of September.
Make your plans to be a part of this thrilling occasion. Camping is located on the north side of track property next to a small lake. Access is via gravel road. Grass lots. Water/electric hookups are not available. Camping costs will be $60 for the week.
