The Speed and Song Summer Series is coming to I-35 Speedway, June 7, Friday Night, under the lights! This Special Friday Night of Racing will include the E Mods, Pure Stocks, and Sport Compact classes in exciting racing action leading up to the “Dammit Jim and the Rednecks” live concert. E Mods on this night will be racing for $500 to win. Following the races, Dammit Jim and the Rednecks will be playing live music which will get your feet stomping, body shaking, badonkadonk a swinging, your whole body a moving and a grooving. We are going to have some Fun!
A second Speed and Song Summer Series event is scheduled on Friday Night August 9, when Nashville Recording Artist and The Voice Contestant Casi Joy will bring her talents to I-35 Speedway. Blake Shelton is quoted as saying this about Casi, “She has this electric energy when she’s on stage and has these unique things that she can do vocally. She’s an edgier version of a country artist. She’s old school but has a youthful energy about her.” This concert and racing event will be a part of the 4th Annual Smokin’ Trackside BBQ Bash KCBS contest.
