Racing is still on at the fast drying I-35 Speedway for this Saturday May 25. Forecasts aside we will do our best to enjoy our racing fun, if not Saturday, then the next day, Sunday. Weather forecasting is about as accurate as predicting who will win a feature race at I-35 Speedway. So far this year in six weeks of racing we have enjoyed six different winners in the USRA A Mods, five different winners in the USRA Stock Cars and Sport Compacts, four different winners in the Pure Stocks and E Mods, and three different winners in the USRA B Mods and Limited Late Models.
Saturday’s schedule calls for hot laps at 6:30 with the first race at 7 P.M. Veterans get in FREE! If you are 18 years young or younger you get in Free, 19 and up are $15, 62 and up are $12. I-35 Speedway is located at Exit 64. Super easy access. Parking is always free.
We are two weeks away from our first Speed and Song Summer Series, June 7, Friday Night, under the lights! This Special Friday Night of Racing will include the E Mods ($500 to win), Pure Stocks, and Sport Compact classes in exciting racing action leading up to the “Dammit Jim and the Rednecks” live concert. Dammit Jim and the Rednecks will get your feet stomping, body shaking, and your badonkadonk a swinging. Make plans to be here for speed and song, fun, fun, fun.
