Hello June 2021! Are you ready for some racing specials at I-35 Speedway? We have reached that point in the schedule where it is excitement after excitement after excitement! This Saturday June 5, Rod End Supply Night at the Races we add the Midwest Lightning Sprints to our regular weekly races.
June 12 is I-35 Speedway’s first special of the year with the USAC Midwest Wingless Sprint Special. Those powerful open wheel racers known for taking 800 plus horsepower and sliding sideways through the turns will make their first 2021 appearance at the legendary speedway.
Saturday, June 19, we celebrate the Pro Ag “Finish Strong Mike Tanner Memorial”. This night is about honoring the memory of former I-35 Speedway racer Mike Tanner. Almost $3,000 has been added to the weekly purse for this night of racing. Need a special T-Shirt for this race contact Crystal Bears Tanner Stockton she is taking pre-orders with payment through Venmo or PayPal. There will also be a collection to assist the Finish Strong Foundation which helps young athletes with sports scholarships.
June 26, Racin’ for Rian Fireworks Spectacular brings the always exciting night of racing plus closing with the Fireworks in the Sky party! Racin’ for Rian is in honor of Rian Wilson who would be eleven this year. She only lived for 30 hours but what a difference she has made in supporting the St. Luke’s NeoNatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Family Fund since her passing. You the race fans have helped this group continue to support other families, who have suffered through this same occurrence. Doing our part as the racing community to help the health care community!
So here comes June! I-35 Speedway is located at Exit 64 off the interstate. Concessions available with sno-cones, root beer floats, beverages of your choice, large tenderloins, hot fries, walking tacos, hot dogs, hamburgers, all available for your dining pleasure. Trackside Bar and Grill overlooks turn 1 great place to have dinner. Always clean restrooms that would be pleasing to Mom, just wait until you see the refurbished restroom Mom, always Free Parking, where else would you be on Saturday night other than I-35 Speedway?
