With all heat races complete E-Modifieds would take to the track and not see a caution in their feature event. Heat winner Jeremiah Asher #37J would take the lead on lap one only to see Randy Smith Jr #75X take it away and pace the field. Smith would not be denied and claim the win on this night of competition. Asher would place second with Kit Bailey #77 moving through the field with precision finishing third. Fourth would see a charging Manlee Lamar #4M hold off other heat race winner Leroy Morrison #50 at the line. Morrison in his first ever race at I-35 Speedway would win his heat race and finish second on his 18th birthday.
As the Pure Stock would come onto the track showers and lightning would force cancellation of the remaining features. Please watch I-35 Speedway Facebook and our Website for details on makeup dates. Save 50/50 tickets as we will draw next Saturday night for a winner.
