WINSTON, Mo. (May 5, 2026)—Schaeffer's Racing Oil Night /Cletus Mudcat/Darrell Whitt Memorial with Late Models & Open Vintage is the next I-35 Speedway event this upcoming Saturday, May 9, 2026. Along with the Late Models and the Open Vintage will be the USRA Modifieds, USRA Stock Cars, USRA B Mods, E Mods, USRA Hobby Stocks, USRA Tuners, and Beginner Tuners.

Cletus “Mudcat” Murray was a Champion Racecar Driver, father, baseball team sponsor, loved by fans, family, and competitors! Darrell Whitt was a racecar driver, car owner, top mechanic, and a man missed around the speedway after passing last year.

The Speedway is located at Exit 64 off Interstate 35 (1/4 mile east of the exit). Free Parking. Mom approved restrooms. No coolers are allowed. No outside food and drinks allowed.

Grandstand gates open at 5:00 P,M,, Adults $15, Seniors (age 62 & over) and Military $12, Youth (ages 18 & under) FREE - ID may be requested

Food, food, and more food - Concessions include Trackside Bar & Grill in Turn 1 (tenderloins, chicken strips, burgers, fries, tacos), Main Concession Stand at the main gate (burgers, walking tacos, hot dogs, popcorn, Coca-Cola products), and The Sugar Shack in Turn 1 (funnel cakes, fried Oreos, root beer floats, ice cream, sweets).

Pit gates will open promptly at 4:00 P,M,. The driver's meeting begins and pill draw will conclude at 6:00 P,M,, followed by hot laps beginning at 6:20 P,M,. The first heat race is scheduled for 7:00 P,M,.

Pit Passes are priced at $40 for adults, $25 for children ages 6-10, and complimentary for children aged 5 and under.

Fuel (110) is available onsite.

I-35 Speedway Driver Registration: Please register through I-35 Speedway at myracepass.com or download and complete the registration form from http://www.I-35Speedway.net to bring with you. Temporary one-night registration is available for $15.

USRA Classes: All participants must be registered with USRA. Only temporary one-night licenses may be purchased at the track for $10. Alternative B-Mod USRA rules apply. For full regulations, visit United States Racing Association Downloads (usraracing.com).

Minors (17 and under): A completed Minor's Release is required for all individuals age 17 and under to enter the pit area.

Competitors Minor's Release: I-35 Speedway requires a completed Minor's Release for all competitors age 17 and younger, which must include a copy of the birth certificate featuring a valid state stamp or authentic seal. Additionally, minors must submit a driver resume or profile outlining all racing experience for the young participant and their parents; this must be provided in PDF or Word format and not handwritten. The minor's resume must be attached to the Minor Release. Parental consent must include notarized signatures from both parents; notary services are available onsite. These requirements must be fulfilled prior to the minor driver entering the track.
