WINSTON, Mo. (April 19, 2026)—A Sunday afternoon special at I-35 Speedway completes our third event of the racing season. Due to the amount of rain over the past few weekends, I-35 and other facilities in the surrounding area haven’t been able to run their scheduled weekend events. After having to cancel racing for the third Saturday in a row, we couldn’t take another weekend off from dirt track racing and the decision was made to race on Sunday. Generational Buildings night at the races brought out 92 total cars to I-35 Speedway. We also honored one of our longtime super race fan Darla Dixon before tonight’s racing action, as well as throughout the night with air horns honking in the grandstands.
For on track action, the E-Mods rolled out first for feature action. Chris Dishong was able to collect the feature win, making him the first E-Mod driver with multiple wins in the 2026 season. Blake Hayes started on the pole and would finish in 2nd, Garrett Stonum in 3rd, Caleb Dennis 4th and Cameron Seager rounded out the top 5.
Joshua Robb made a huge pass in the opening lap of the USRA Tuner feature race and wouldn’t be caught, marking his first feature win of the year. Samuel Moore finished in 2nd, JR Curtis rebounded into 3rd, Nathan Hampton 4th and Robert Miller in 5th.
Cameron Seager started on the pole and also collected his first feature win in the USRA Hobby Stocks at I-35 this season. Seager had to hold off Gavin Bartel for what felt like the entire race to get the win, Bartel would finish a very respectable 2nd. Brad Chumbly finished in 3rd, Shaun Wirtz in 4th and Chad Allen started 10th and would finish 5th.
USRA B-Mods rolled out next, where a couple of Polo,Mo residents battled lap after lap for the race win. Chad Clancy was able to hold on and pick up the feature win, his 2nd of the year at I-35. Adam Dunwoodie stayed right with Clancy for multiple laps, keeping the pressure on. Dunwoodie would come home in 2nd, Kyler Girard in 3rd, Colby Burge 4th and Randy Smith Jr. in 5th.
USRA Stock Cars brought a stacked field of drivers tonight, all ready to bring their best to I-35. Shayne Bailey started on the front row and would stay up front all night, ultimately picking up the feature win. Tyler Cadwallader rebounded from some heat race trouble to finish 2nd in the feature, Mark Dotson finished in 3rd, Jaylen Wettengel in 4th and Doug Keller would round out the top-5.
USRA Modifieds had a newcomer for the 2026 season, Justin Zeitner, win tonight's feature event. Houston Johnson would finish in 2nd, Mark Dotson found himself in the top-5 in back to back races finishing in 3rd, Ryan Murphy in 4th and Steven Glenn in 5th.
Makayla Myers goes back-to-back in the Beginner Tuners feature, Glenn Sterkis finished in 2nd.
