WINSTON, Mo. (Aug. 30, 2025)—The Mike Knight Memorial brought 85 cars to I-35 Speedway on Saturday night, including a stacked B-Mod field racing for $750 to win. Mother Nature factored all night, but track crews and drivers worked to save the track as long as possible to get seven out of nine of our feature races in.

First out on track was the E-Mods, where Chris Dishong could not be caught. Tony Layne charged hard to come home second, followed by Aaron Jones, Nathan Hampton, and Tyler Erickson who held on from the pole to finish top five.

Late Models were up next where Houston Johnson put on a dominant performance. Tommy Cordray would finish second, followed by Michael King, Jackson Brawner, and Brandon Barnes.

Junior Sport Compacts came out next, where Abby Lee would get around Misty Teel late for the feature win. Hallie Waters would come home third and Athena Riley in fourth.

Midwest Lightning Sprints rolled on track next, where JP Falke dominated after passing pole sitter Jeff Bard early. Stanley Kreisel and Jason Billups, both our heat race winners, would climb through the field to finish second and third respectively. Tyler Johnson and Darin Woodward rounded out the top five.

A super talented pure stock field would roll out next with side-by-side racing at the front of the pack all feature long. Gavin Grier would reign supreme, passing James Silkwood for the feature win. Shaun Wirtz kept it at the front all night, coming home third, while Clint Baker and Aj Sayers rounded out the top five.

The B-Mods came next, racing for $750 to win in the Mike Knight Memorial. Chad Clancy would get by Ethan Isaacs on a restart and never look back for the feature win. Lucas Isaacs would also get by for third, followed by Ethan, the 6T of Michael Taylor III, and the 7J of Jake Richard’s in fifth.

The USRA Stock Cars were the show of the night, front runners battling for the lead throughout the feature. Tyler Cadwallader would pass early race leader Austin Kaplan for the win, with Rodney Schweizer, Doug Keller, and Jeff Dixon all battling for the lead at points and rounding out the top five.

Despite our best efforts the rain would settle in after the USRA Stock Cars, meaning our final two features will be made up on a later night. Houston Johnson dominated the Modified Heat race, while in Compacts Alex Boyden and JR Curtis would win the heats.

Thank you to all drivers, sponsors, crews, officials, track workers, and of course the fans for another great night of action. Another special thank you to B-Mod and Stock Car drivers, especially for helping battle the weather elements and save the track during their features, and for all the fans who hung around for some great racing in their classes. Full results and points posted on our Facebook and on our website, and we will see you all next Saturday night
