Carpenters Classics night at the races brought 85 cars for an action-packed night on track. The night included an autograph session for our fans at intermission at the only track that allows 18 and under in free!
First on track were the E-Mods, where Coleman Browning dominated and pulled away to the feature victory. Blake Hayes and Tony Layne would battle it out for the first runner up, but Hayes would hold the #71 off for second. Following Hayes were Layne, Nathan Hampton, and Garrett Stonum rounding out the top five.
In sport compacts Samuel Moore would reign supreme, able to dominate and control the race. Ryan Hinkle and Brad Mick would make their charge but come home second and third respectively. Jr Curtis and Jason Teal would round out the top five.
Calvin Teel would pull away from the Pure Stock field for his first feature win ever after three years of competition. James Silkwood and CJ Turner would fill out the podium, while AJ Sayers and Bo Adkins round out the top five.
In the MOKAN IMCA Sprints, Laney Moore would whoop the field, turning several laps under 15 seconds. Chase Koelicker recovered from a flip in hot laps to come home second, followed by Heat Race #1 Winner Brett Combs, with Logan Moore, and finally Jake Greenwood to complete the top five.
It was a rematch of last week’s feature early in the USRA B Mods, with Adam Dunwoodie and Daniel Harris battling it out lap after lap. Harris would take the lead only to have Dunwoodie grab the lead the next lap. Side by side action until trouble would end Harris’ night early, allowing Dunwoodie to set sail. Londen McClure would come home second, followed by Josh Adkins, Caleb Dennis, and Brett Holman.
In the USRA Stock Cars, Chris Dishong would hold off Brad Derry for the feature win. Chris Mercer and Matthew Lance followed behind, with Anthony Robertson wrapping up the top five.
In the USRA Modifieds Houston Johnson dominated after getting around Steven Glenn early. Glenn would hold onto second, followed by Terry Vantrump, Jory Stotts, and Jace Whitt rounding out the top five.
The 9X of Robert Miller would sweep the junior sport compacts, claiming his second win. Rylie Robb would beat Hallie Waters in a photo finish for second, and Misty Teel and Leah Whitt rounded out the field.
