I-35 SPEEDWAY RACE RESULTS 9-7-2024

Another great night of racing at I-35 Speedway brought out 112 total cars and a packed grandstands ready to watch the dirt fly. We welcomed back the USAC Midwest Wingless Sprints to I-35 Speedway as well as bonuses for the winners in Pure Stocks, Sport Compacts and Jr. Sport Compacts. We also welcomed the American Foundation for Suicide Awareness partnered with The Race to Prevent Suicide for Suicide Awareness night. There was over $1,800 raised for ASFP, and they wanted to thank everyone who donated throughout the night.

On the speedway, Aaron Jones collected his first feature win this season in the E-Mods. Chris Parkison used the high line to take the lead in the closing laps and win the USAC Midwest Wingless Sprints. Grant Sheetz grabbed the feature win in the Jr. Sport Compacts after battling with Emma Mather in the closing laps. Sheetz grabbed the $175 bonus for the feature win. Shadren Turner started up front in the B-Mods and stayed there all night, Turner’s 3rd feature win in the B-Mods this season.

Mark Dotson who normally runs in the Midwest Limited Late Models hopped in a USRA Stock Car tonight and drove it to the front for the feature win. Eric Schmidt grabbed the Sport Compact feature win and took home the $400 bonus. Tyler Hibner used his front row starting spot to take home the USRA Modified feature win. And Mich Ross collected the $700 bonus for the feature win in the Pure Stocks.

Thank you to all the generous race fans and drivers that came out to the track for a good cause. It was an action-packed night with all drivers putting on an amazing show in every class. Thank you to all the track officials and safety crews for another great job keeping the drivers safe and the track as fast as it could be. Thank you to ASF Racing, Emma Mather and Dustin Benscoter for the bonus donations for Jr. Sport Compacts, Sport Compacts and Pure Stocks.
