One Hundred and Five (105) racecars and their driver and crews checked in for the CSI Overhead Door Be Aware Cancer Rally at I-35 Speedway. Drivers, fans and crew came together to help raise money for a great cause and to finish the month of September competition at I-35 Speedway.

The E-Mods were first to hit the track and once again they were slowed by only a few cautions. Casey Burnett the points leader had to borrow a car last week but this week he was back in his 23b machine and back in McCarthy Autogroup Victory Lane, for the 15th time this season. Chris Dishong would work his way to the back bumper of Burnett but have to settle for a second-place finish, Adam Dunwoodie would battle but finish third, last week’s winner Aaron Jones was fourth and AJ Sayers had a top five finishing fifth.

In Pure Stock action Jakub Hisel would visit McCarthy Autogroup Victory Lane for the first time. Hisel, who was in position to win initially finished second was declared the winner after post-race tech. Johnnie Price would finish second, Travis Cavin made his return to I-35 Speedway with a third-place finish, Eric Knutson finished fourth and Brandon Dixon was fifth.

The Poweri Midwest Lightning Sprints were back in action for the second straight week with Stanley Kreisel picking up his second straight win. Chris Crowder made it interesting at the end but would have to settle for second, Trice Roden battled hard finishing third, Kenny Bowers driving for Chasity Younger Racing finished fourth and Jason Berg was fifth.

Paul Glendenning would lead wire to wire to pick up the win in the Midwest Limited Late Models. Tommy Cordray would come home second, points leader Ed Noll finished third, Houston Johnson fourth and Brad Dibben fifth.

Terry Schultz made the trip to I-35 Speedway and picked up the win in the USRA B-Mods. Daniel Harris put the pressure on at the end but got sideways allowing Darrion McLaughlin to slip by for second. Harris was third followed by Colin Pierce and Corey Myers in the top five.

Kristchon Hisel became the second Hisel brother in McCarthy Autogroup Victory Lane Saturday night winning the USRA Stock Car feature for his second win of the season. Danny Holt was there at the end finishing second, Jason Estes raced his way to finish third, Aaron Sauter rebounded from an earlier mishap to finish fourth and Dalton Swalley did the same to finish fifth.

Points leader Tyler Hibner picked up his ninth USRA Modified win of 2022 as he slipped by early leader Lee Hibner. Lee Hibner would finish second, Houston Johnson was third, Tyler Grooms fourth and Terry VanTrump fifth.

Brad Mick was in the right place at the right time as Isaiah Penton slipped over the bank in turn three allowing Mick to get by as he led the last few laps to win the Sport Compact feature. Penton would finish second, Elijah Hoyt finished third, Brad Alshire was fourth and Jeremy Sims fifth.

Congratulations to Jace Wilson for winning our fan of the week sponsored by Cline Racing, JDB Racing Videography, Graphics King, Noll Racing and Corey Myers Racing.

Join us next week for McCarthy Auto Group Show-Me Spectacular as we start our final month of the 2022 season and the chase to crown our track champions.
