It has been an exciting couple of months in the planning for the 2019 Racing Season at I-35 Speedway. Happy New Year everyone! As we approach the 2019 racing season, I-35 Speedway will hold the annual Driver’s Meeting, on Saturday, January 12, 2019 at 10 A.M. at the Trackside Bar and Grill located at the Speedway. Drivers may complete their 2019 registration and get their car number reserved for the year and purchase their reserved pit spots at the meeting. Everyone is invited to come enjoy the camaraderie of the I-35 Speedway racers and crews.
Let’s recap some of the exciting news these last couple of months. The Midwest Limited Late Models will replace the former Grand National class. USRA sanctioning continues for the A Mods, B Mods, and Stock Cars. Rules have been released for the Pure Stock, E Mods, and Sport Compacts with clarifications only, no rule changes. I-35 Speedway strives to never burden our racers with unneeded cost due to changes. USMTS is coming on August 14, a special Wednesday show and the USRA Ironman Series will be in action on Friday, March 29, and the Gary Davis Super 66 Stock Car Special on June 22 is also an Ironman event. For our fans, we will continue the policy of 18 and under in FREE and on May 11 everyone is invited to the grandstands for FREE.
Track management is continuing to work to add events to the schedule to make 2019 the Best Ever at I-35 Speedway.
