The McCarthy Auto Group 2020 season opener at I-35 Speedway will be held the weekend of May 8 and 9. Friday night, May 8th will feature the E-Mods, Sport Compacts, Pure Stocks, and Show-Me Vintage Racers. On Friday gates will open at 5:30 pm with racing action starting at 7:45 pm. On Saturday, May 9th part two of the McCarthy Auto Group season opener will feature USRA Modifieds, USRA Stock Cars, USRA B-Mods, and the Midwest Limited Late Models with gates opening at 4:00 pm and racing beginning at 7:00 pm. This two-night format will ensure the 6 foot social distancing requirement.
We are excited for our 2020 racing season to finally get underway at I-35 Speedway, for the safety of our staff, drivers, and spectators we want to remind everyone to maintain social distancing, our grandstands will be marked accordingly. Follow the CDC guidelines, if you are sick, please stay home. Wash your hands and use hand sanitizer which will be placed throughout the facility. Wearing a mask is encouraged, please bring your personal protective equipment (PPE) with you. When in lines, please do not crowd, we must maintain social distancing.
