It’s a double header weekend at I-35 Speedway! This Friday Night (August 30) is a Special Race Night – the DAVIESS COUNTY CLASH showcasing the 410 POWERi Outlaw Sprint Cars, as well as the USRA Modifieds, E-Mods and Pure Stocks! Our normal Saturday night (August 31) will be Casey’s Night at the Races – Mike Knight Memorial Weekly Racing with the Midwest Lightning Sprints. Double the opportunity to earn points toward the championship for the USRA Modifieds, E-Mods, and Pure Stocks. Two nights of racing FUN at the legendary speedway.
FRIDAY NIGHT, being a special event, the gates open at 4:00 p.m. engine heat for the sprint cars at 6:45, hot laps at 7:00, and racing will start at 7:30. Admission prices for this night are Adults $30, Seniors (62+) and Military $20, Suite Tickets are $35, children 11-17 are $15, children 10 and younger are free, pit passes are $40, children pit passes ages 6-10 $25, age five and under free, and minor releases are required.
SATURDAY NIGHT, the Mike Knight Memorial in remembrance of former track prep guru Mike Knight. Thanks to the Knight family the Pure Stock class will be racing for a $1,000 payday with additional bonus money throughout the field. Admission prices are the normal weekly prices – Adults $15, Seniors (62+) and Military $12, Suite Tickets are $20, age 18 and under free, and Pit Passes are $40 (drivers $35).

For the fans… I-35 Speedway is located at EXIT 64 off Interstate 35 (1/4 mile east of the Interstate). Free Parking. Mom approved restrooms.

A variety of track food favorites are available at Trackside Bar & Grill (Turn 1) serving tenderloins, hot fries, chicken strips, burgers, and an assortment of appetizers. Sugar Shack (Turn 1) is the spot for funnel cakes, deep fried Oreos, root beer floats, and pretzels. The main concession (inside entrance gate, turn 4) is the place to find walking tacos, hot dogs, hamburgers, popcorn, candy and much, much more.

Pit Gates open at 4:00 pm. Driver’s meeting and pill draw close 6:00 pm. On Saturday. To be determined on Friday. Saturday Schedule is Hot Laps 6:20 – 6:50 pm. First race: 7:00 pm. Friday Pit Passes see second paragraph in press release. Saturday Pit Passes: Drivers $35, Pit Crew and Pit Spectators $40, Kids 6-10 $25, Kids 5 and under are free.
I-35 Speedway Driver Registration: Register with I-35 Speedway (myracepass.com) or print form at I-35 Speedway – Dirt Trackin’ at its best! complete and bring with you. One-night temporary registration $15.
USRA Classes: You must be registered with USRA, only temporary one-night licenses can be sold at the track $10. Alternative B-Mod USRA rules apply. Check out the USRA website usraracing.com.

Fuel (110 and Premium) is available for sale at the track. We are stocked with American Racer Tires and Real Wheels (contact Mike Johnson 816-365-7592). Also available are Champion Race Products (oil, power steering fluid, brake fluid, and gear oil).
Minors (17 and under): Everyone age 17 and under must have a completed Minor’s release to enter the pits.
Competitors Minor’s Release: Must have a completed Minor’s release for all competitors 17 and under AND it must include a copy of your birth certificate with either a valid state stamp or authentic seal.
