Change, change, change, an exciting change to the I-35 Speedway schedule for Saturday, July 17, 2021. Due to a scheduling conflict the USAC Midwest Wingless Sprints will not be in action. It will continue to be the Good Shepherd Hospice Night Kaster Celebration. The sprint car loss though is the Sport Compact class gain. This rapidly growing class, the Sport Compacts, will be racing for $250 to win with additional money spread throughout the field. So, to ensure everyone understands no sprint cars on July 17, instead the Sport Compacts will be racing for additional money. Pure Stocks, just a hint, watch for next week’s press release! Also for the racers the track now offers 91 octane fuel, 110 octane fuel, and methanol.
Racing action begins at 7:00 P.M. Pit gates open 3 hours before race time and the grandstands open 30 minutes after the pit gates open. Admission prices are $15 for adults, $12 for Seniors (62 and older) and Military, and as always, those 18 and younger (ID may be requested) are Free.
Super easy access to I-35 Speedway, exit 64 and turn east because at that point you can’t miss the track off to your left with American Flags a flying. Free Parking always. Concessions located throughout the facility serving your favorites, like sweet, tasty funnel cakes, large tenderloins, hot fries, walking tacos, hot dogs, hamburgers, popcorn, and tea, water, pop, or beer. The Speedway Illustrated recognized Trackside Bar and Grill overlooks Turn 1, great place to sit, watch the races, and have dinner! Mom approved restrooms with new tile, new walls, new lights, new sinks, new paper towel dispensers, new everything, the new improved Men’s room will also be open.
