I-35 Speedway USRA 2018 Track of the Year! Yes, racing family you did it, you earned this award presented last Friday Night at the USRA Banquet held at the Ameristar Casino in Kansas City. Race fans, race car drivers, pit crews, and I-35 Speedway staff (ambulance, officials, tow personnel, concessions, ticket takers, gate guards, everyone) you made this happen, Thank You and pat yourselves on the back! Now could someone please contact Mother Nature and ask her to let up on winter, please! The great plans for 2019 developed over the winter months did not include an extended winter stay. Practice number 1 scheduled for March 2 has been cancelled with a forecast record-breaking low temperature. We will try again next week March 9 for practice with those ever-present words, weather permitting.
