Racing off season is usually made up of banquets, holidays, schedule releases, drivers’ meetings, and then the impatient period, will we ever get to Spring Time weather so we can go racing, but this off season is just full of fun and excitement at I-35 Speedway! Last week, Speedway management announced the tentative 2019 racing schedule, well super exciting changes have occurred in just this last week!
Let’s begin with this announcement on Friday, March 29, the USRA Frostbuster Ironman series will be in fast action at the track. USRA A Mods, B Mods, and Stock Cars in hot competition around the 3/8s mile legendary speedway putting on an early season exciting racing program for all Midwest fans to enjoy. The Gary Davis Super 66 Stock Car Special on June 22 will also be a USRA Ironman race, bringing in the best stock car drivers in the country. Stock cars from other sanctions will also be welcome to come and compete for the super purse this race pays! Finally, a United States Modified Touring Series (USMTS) race has been added to the schedule on a special night, Wednesday, August 14, a special midweek race. Yes, in 2019 the best of the best in A Mods, B Mods, and Stock Cars will be racing at I-35 Speedway.
