Taylor III, Yonts, Clevenger, Schmidt, Davis, Turner, Dixon and Rudolf cash in at the Pro Ag Finish Strong Mike Tanner Memorial at I-35 Speedway!

 

In the E-mods, it was a three-car battle for much of the race between George Burnett, Michael Taylor III and Chris Dishong as Burnett led early before surrendering the lead over to the current points leader Taylor III. Taylor III picked up his 6th feature win of the season. Dishong finished 2nd, Burnett held on for 3rd, Adam Dunwoodie continues his strong season finishing 4th, and Lane Mathews has another impressive run in his rookie season finishing 5th.

 

In Pure Stock action, points leader Rieli Yonts picked up his 4th feature win of the season. Yonts was challenged by Kristchon Hisel for much of the race. Hisel would go on to finish 2nd, followed by Matthew Matsukevich, Travis Cavin and Darrion McLaughlin in the top 5.

 

The Show Me Vintage racers were on hand with Jim Thorne leading most of the race before surrendering the lead to Damon Clevenger who picked up his 3rd feature win of the season at I-35 Speedway. Bob Werkmeister sped his way up to a 2nd place finish. Thorne would hold on for 3rd, followed by Kevin Anderson and Dan Schmidt.

 

In Sport Compact action, Eric Schmidt made the trip to I-35 Speedway a successful one as he picked up the feature win. Robert Chase finished 2nd, Richard McCaulley finished 3rd, Mikel Solberg finished 4th with Bobby Chilton in 5th.

 

Midwest Limited Late Models were next to hit the track with Kerry Davis picked up his 4th feature win of the season. He was challenged early by current points leader Tommy Cordray, who finished 2nd and Houston Johnson finishing 3rd. Paul Glendenning finished 4th and Brad Dibben 5th.

 

Shadren Turner was in the right place at the right time picking up his 3rd USRA B-Mod feature of the season at I-35. Anthony Roth led early but finished 2nd. Current points leader Tyler Cadwallader finished 3rd, Jeremy Chambers finished 4th and Jake Richards was 5th.

 

In USRA Stock Car action, Jeff Dixon found his line as they battled three wide for the lead out of turn four. Dixon would pick up his 3rd win of the 2021 season beating Doug Keller, JJ Baumli, Mich Ross and Gene Stigall who all finished in the top 5.

 

USRA Modifieds were last to hit the track with Chase Rudolf capturing his second win. Rudolf passed then race leader Steven Bowers Jr at about the half way mark to pick up the victory. Adam Kates would motor his was up to a 2nd place finish followed by points leader Houston Johnson, Tyler Hibner and Ed Noll in the top 5.
