It was Tompkins Industries Night at I-35 Speedway where 101 entries checked into the pit. The drivers and track personnel ran a smooth program where the last checkered flag dropped around 10:00 pm.

 

The E-mods were first on the track tonight. Casey Burnett got by Coleman Browning to pick up his second feature win of the season. Coleman Browning held on for second, with Adam Dunwoodie in third, Aaron Jones fourth and Lane Mathews in fifth.

 

In Pure Stock competition, Conrad Kaufman was able to make a last lap pass out of turn four to nip Leroy Morrison at the finish line for the win. Leroy Morrison finished second. Ava Dixon started tailback on the field and drove a great race to finish in third with Colton Couch fourth and Brandon Dixon fifth.

 

Shayne Bailey grabbed the early lead and was able to hold off fast charging Tommy Cordray to pick up his second Midwest Limited Late Model feature win of the year. Cordray finished second, followed by Austin Johnson, Houston Johnson and Michael Dotson.

 

In the USRA B-Mods, Jake Richards was able to slip by Tim Galvan with a few laps to go and pick up the win. Galvan held on for second. Michael Taylor III continues to improve on his first season in the B-Mod class as he finishes third. Cole Moore and Tyler Cadwallader finished in fourth and fifth.

 

Austin Bouzek picked up his second win in USRA Stock Cars as he held off some tough competition in Rodney Schweizer, Doug Keller, Chad Clancy and Tim Eaton.

 

Chris Spalding picked up his first USRA Modified feature win at I-35 Speedway tonight as he led every lap in route to the win. The rest of the field jockeyed for position with Lee Hibner, Houston Johnson, Austin Johnson and Tyler Grooms finishing in the top five.

 

Finishing up the night was the Sport Compacts where Isaiah Penton picked up his second feature win of the season. Second spot went to David Miller, third to Josh Clark, fourth to Kyle Hamilton and fifth to Bobby Chilton.
