I-35 Speedway Press Release 9-26-2020

Racing, super exciting side by side nose to tail, “you can throw a blanket over them” racing every Saturday Night continues at I-35 Speedway this Saturday September 26, 2020. Racing will continue every Saturday through Halloween.  This Saturday is Pro-Ag Night at the Races with our weekly classes and special guest class the Midwest Lightning Sprints. Racing starts at 7:00 P.M.  Pit gates open at 4:30 and the grandstands will open at 5 P.M. Admission prices are $15 for Adults, $12 for Seniors (62+) and Military, and Youth 18 and younger (ID may be requested) are Free (a weekly tradition)!  Bring the family and enjoy a night of racing.

With six weeks to go in the 2020 season, let’s take a quick gander at the Points Races for the season championships. In the USRA Modifieds Tyler Hibner leads Lee Hibner by 123 points. In the super competitive USRA B Mods it is Nic Hanes with a commanding lead of 234 points over Tyler Cadwallader.  Hanes has been Mr. Consistency as he has 13 Top five finishes in 19 starts, however, he is still looking for win number 1 of this 2020 season.   The USRA Stock Cars has seen Doug Keller put together 13 wins in 20 starts to lead last year’s champion Jeff Dixon by only 68 points.  Keller continues to flirt with the USRA National Championship sitting only 12 points behind Mitch Hovden as of September 18.  Brandon Dixon has a 187-point lead over Travis Cavin in the Pure Stocks.  In the E Mods it is Casey Burnett leading Kameron Hanes by 51 points. Kerry Davis has 15 wins in the Late Models and leads last year champion Tommy Cordray by 134 who has 15 Top 5 finishes to his season.  John Willard has 14 feature wins in 18 races to lead David Miller by 181 points as we enter the final six weeks of the 2020 racing season.

I-35 Speedway is located at Exit 64 off the interstate, ten miles north of Cameron, Missouri.  Super easy access. Parking is always free.
