Nashville Country Music Recording Artist Casi Joy is coming to I-35 Speedway Friday Night August 9, 2019. She is the headline entertainment for opening night of the 4th Annual Smokin Trackside BBQ Bash. Casi hails from Smithville, Missouri and was a finalist on the hit television show The Voice. Opening night of the BBQ Bash will include a couple classes of racecars with races starting at 7:00 and Casi taking the stage around 9:00 P.M. Additionally, the traditional People’s Choice BBQ Wings contest will occur on Friday night, so now you have barbeque, wings tasting, racing, and the Casi Joy concert, what a great night to be at I-35 Speedway!
Between her distinct yodel and booming lower register, Casi Joy’s blind audition performance of LeAnn Rimes’ “Blue” had no problem getting chair spins from all four The Voice judges. Surprisingly, Joy was eliminated from Team Blake during Season 12’s Live Playoffs after a fiery performance of Chris Stapleton’s “Parachute.” Nevertheless, Joy remains a fan favorite on social media (she’s racked up 25 million views and counting on Facebook) and spent the summer touring the U.S. and Canada with her band. Now, she’s been back in Nashville writing songs. Her debut EP Love on Repeat is available everywhere.
Casi has opened for Montgomery Gentry and has wowed at Arrowhead Stadium. Some of Joy’s music include hit songs, Jolene, Blue, Crazy, Hallelujah, Proud Mary, Jackson to name a few. Mark your calendars you will not want to miss the concert, the racing, and the BBQ!
