Here comes September and more racing fun at I-35 Speedway Motorsports Park. This Saturday, September 1, Racing Action returns as the chase for the track Championships continue, with seven classes of racecars in competition you always receive the most racing for your money. I-35 Speedway is located at exit 64 off Interstate 35. On Saturday September 1, 2018 the gates open at 4:30 P.M., hot laps at 6:15 P.M., and racing begins at 7:00 P.M. Adults are $12, Seniors (62 and over) and military $10, age 18 and younger are FREE.
Let’s look back at our August fun, Kids Night, BBQ, Friday Night ATV racing, C.A.R.B. night, and SCCA Rallycross. Bring on the September fun with five nights of Saturday Night weekly racing, ATV racing under the lights on September 14, and another SCCA Rallycross on September 30 closing out the month.
Of course, that leads us to October and the USRA Nationals on October 3-6, 2018. Three nights of electrifying edge of your seat racing, (Thursday, Friday and Saturday), with a practice night (Wednesday) to start the final month of the 2018 racing season! I-35 Speedway becomes a little city during the Nationals with campers and race cars occupying the land.
Part of becoming a small city means providing food! Concessions are available throughout the facility. The Trackside Bar and Grill overlooking the racing in turn 1 is a great place for a meal. Large tenderloins, hot fries, walking tacos, hot dogs, hamburgers, snow cones, sweet funnel cakes, root beer floats, beverages of your choice, are all available to satisfy your appetite. Clean restrooms, always Free Parking, where else would you be on a Saturday Night other than I-35 Speedway?
