I-35 Speedway this weekend, August 25 and 26, 2018. Saturday Night is Central Auto Racing Boosters (C.A.R.B.) Night at the Races – all C.A.R.B. members get in free. This organization was started in 1952 to support circle track racing. C.A.R.B. has an annual banquet, annual Bowlathon, annual Hall of Fame Ceremony, and this weekend they are bringing Sparky their mascot and a pinewood derby track. I-35 Speedway is located at exit 64 off Interstate 35. On Saturday August 25, 2018 the gates open at 4:30 P.M., hot laps at 6:15 P.M., and racing begins at 7:00 P.M. Adults are $12, Seniors (62 and over) $10, age 18 and younger are FREE.
Sunday, August 26, the first ever Sports Car Club of America (SCCA) Rallycross will be run at the track:
7:00 am – Site opens, 8:00 am – Tech & Registration Open, 9:30 am – Drivers Meeting, 10:00 am – First Car off (Morning Session), 12:00 pm – Lunch Break, 1:00 pm – First Car off (Afternoon Session). For those racing, SCCA Members Entry Fee – $35 and Non-SCCA Members Entry Fee – $45.
