The United States Modified Touring Series (USMTS) roars into I-35 Speedway, Thursday, August 16, 2018 for the Missouri Meltdown, a special Thursday Night Thunder event. Since I-35 Speedway is in the heart of the drought we are hoping the current forecast is correct, chances of moisture everyday except Thursday! Along with the USMTS Modifieds, the best of the best in Modified racing, the E Mods, USRA B Mods, and USRA Stock Cars will be in action. Track points towards the season championship will be on the line in all four classes.
Pit gates open at 3:30, Driver’s Meeting is scheduled for 6:30, Hot Laps at 7:00, and racing at 7:30. Tickets are $20 for General Admission, $18 for seniors 62 and older and our military personnel, and youth 7-12 are $10. Make your plans now to be at I-35 Speedway this Thursday for your chance to witness the outstanding drivers in the USMTS.
I-35 Speedway is located just east of the interstate at Exit 64. Concessions are available throughout the facility! The Trackside Bar and Grill overlooking the racing in turn 1 is a great place for dinner. Large tenderloins, hot fries, walking tacos, hot dogs, hamburgers, snow cones, sweet funnel cakes, root beer floats, beverages of your choice, are all available to satisfy your appetite.
