I-35 Speedway will practice Friday Night, March 22, under the lights with gates opening at 4:00 P.M. Based on the current forecast both on broadcast networks and the internet the experts are calling for a wet forecast beginning Saturday through next Monday. I-35 Speedway wants to ensure our drivers and crews have an opportunity to test and tune their cars before the season begins. While we don’t always trust forecasts, especially in the Midwest, we want to error on the side of getting a practice completed during the best forecast weather.
I-35 Speedway is tentatively planning a Saturday afternoon, March 23, practice, in addition to the Friday Night practice. Gates will open at 1 P.M. with practice to follow on Saturday, weather permitting of course. Grandstands are FREE for practice, pit access is $25. We look forward to seeing everyone this Friday, March 22, and hopefully Saturday March 23. Let’s get the racing season rocking and rolling!
I-35 Speedway is located at exit 64, ten miles north of Cameron, Missouri. Heading north take exit 64 and turn right, can’t miss track on left in approximately ¼ mile. Heading south on the interstate take exit 64 but turn left and cross over the interstate. Concessions will be open for your dining pleasure.
