Happy New Year as we ring in 2025!
It’s that time of year! You know that time of year, the time to get ready for the 2025 racing season at I-35 Speedway. Pit spots can be purchased, driver’s registration can be completed reserving your racecar number for the next year, minor release paperwork can be completed. Track staff has been busy finalizing rules, coordinating the racing schedule, hiring the staff, yep it is that time of year.
Before we leave 2024 let’s again congratulate our Champions. USRA Modified Champion Tyler Hibner, USRA Stock Car Champion Nic Hanes, USRA B Modified Champion Chase Moulton, Pure Stock Champion James “Bubba” Silkwood, E Modified Champion Brett Holman, Sport Compact Champion Brad Mick, Late Model Champion Michael King, Junior Sport Compact Champion Grant Sheetz, and Vintage Open Champion Mike Lefholz.
The 2025 Class Rules are published on the I-35 Speedway website. As always at I-35 Speedway our intent is not to legislate out a competitor but instead to find a way to make cars competitive, so everyone may come and have fun. We welcome these occasional drivers who are not competing for points but instead want to try out another racetrack.
Again, watch the website and watch Facebook as we post the upcoming schedule for 2025 and any other pertinent news. Concerning the schedule, plan now for practice the first two Saturdays in March with opening night tentatively scheduled for March 15, 2025, of course, weather permitting.
