Are the winter doldrums effecting you yet? Well the countdown days have begun. Countdown to Super Bowl 3 days, countdown to Daytona 500 two weeks, countdown to the first practice day six weeks, countdown to opening night 8 weeks. Just like a great rocket launch the countdown is on to the start of great 2020 racing season! So, for our racers get those rocket ships (racecars) ready! For our fans, the wait is almost over for us to smell the racing fuel, hear the sounds of roaring engines, and jump for joy when our favorite drivers take the track.
Look at some of the additions to the schedule since it was first published. USMTS, Friday April 17, at I-35 Speedway, the best of the best Modified Drivers taking to the legendary track. USAC Midwest Wingless Sprint Cars make their first appearance on May 16. Gary Davis Super 66 Stock Car Race is now a two day show on July 10 and 11. August 7 and 8 the Smokin Trackside BBQ Bash returns where last year’s Grand Champion parlayed their win into a National KCBS Championship. Of course, weekly our superb drivers in competition in the USRA Modifieds, USRA Stock Cars, USRA B Mods, Limited Late Models, Pure Stock, E Mods, and Sport Compacts.
